Hi there! I’m Valeria.
Valeria Danilova is a Toronto-based calligraphy and lettering artist specializing in live brand activations, hand engraving, hot foiling, bespoke studio commissions, and corporate calligraphy workshops.
Originally from Eastern Europe, I lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco before settling in Toronto. Through all those moves, I was looking for something to bring me back to my roots — a way to reconnect with where I came from and what I was meant to do. That search led me to the idea of handwriting my own family tree, and to teaching myself calligraphy in order to make it.
What began as a personal project turned into a passion I couldn’t ignore. I fell in love with the beauty of handwritten work and immersed myself in the practice.
In 2020, I turned that passion into my studio, launching during a time when connection felt more precious than ever. While the world rushed toward digital and remote, I chose to honor the timeless power of words crafted by hand.
